Pink elephants are not a sick hallucination but reality (PHOTO)

Pink elephants that live in one of Burma zoos cause emotional outburst among visitors due to their untraditional color.

The mama-elephant and her kinds love to take a bath. Their skin color is usually reddish brown, but becomes light-pick if watered. The hair and nails are of the same color. Despite the rare color, this kind of elephants is considered as a variety of the white species and has not been classified as a separate kind.

This kind of elephants is of high value in Buddhistic countries. They are believed to bring luck and, sometimes, political changes for the better. Indeed, Burma is gradually overcoming the military regime. However, it is hardly the merit of pink elephants.
