Reassuring note on a broken plane wing

A plane of Alaska Airlines took off and the flight was going just fine until one of the passengers looked out of the window and saw a broken wing and a note next to it.

An Alaska Airlines' maintenance crew servicing a Boeing 737 cut out part of its wing and then wrote "We Know About This" next to it. Then, they sent the jetliner on a flight.

The crew thought it was a good idea to warn the passengers to stay calm and not to worry.

Obviously, the plane was apt for flight: the pilots always inspect their aircraft before taking off. But think about being on that window seat.
